2025 Beach Walk

The Saltwater Cowboys will release the north herd from the corral at daybreak, walk them along the shores of the Atlantic, and allow them to join the south herd in the Southern Corral. A magical morning that grows in popularity each year, the Beach Walk is a tradition like no other. 

It is advised that anyone looking to attend arrive at the Wildlife Refuge by 6 am at the latest for parking. The refuge opens at 5 AM.

Don't forget to bring your beach chairs if you plan to stay for the day following the Beach Walk, or follow the ponies to the corral for plenty of photo and viewing opportunities.
