Octopus’s Garden is Brand New 2021 Construction, and beyond stunning. Tucked Canalfront on a quiet cul-de-sac, it’s the perfect place to kick back and relax. Take in that salty, sweet bay breeze as you relax on the Deck with gorgeous Views of both the Canal and the Chincoteague Bay. Just imagine fishing and crabbing right in your own backyard - and don’t forget to bring the Boat! Drop it in at the Cove’s Marina, and the house is just around the bend. Octopus’s Garden is all about waterfront living at its very finest.

Captain’s Cove is only 25 short minutes by car or boat to Chincoteague and Assateague National Seashore, where our famous Wild Ponies roam free. And if you’re looking for some OC excitement, Ocean City, Maryland is a short 45 minute drive away. Have the very best of everything, right in the heart of the Eastern Shore! But once you see this magnificent home, you may never want to leave!

This statuesque Vacation Home is adorned in Colors of Sand and Sky - so serene and welcoming. Sleeping 8 in 4 spacious Bedrooms, this Reverse Floor Plan home truly has it all. As you climb the steps to the 1st Floor, you’ll find 3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, and the Laundry Area. Bedroom 1 is the Master with a comfy King Bed, beachy distressed furnishings, Flat Screen Satellite TV with Streaming, and floors reminiscent of a stroll on the Boardwalk. With private access to the 1st Level Deck, you can slip out to stargaze while the rest of the family slumbers. Or sip your morning coffee while watching Herons and Egrets fish for their morning meal. The Private Master Bath has a Double Vanity and spacious Walk-in Shower.

Across the Hall, Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed, and also has Flat Screen Satellite TV with Streaming, and private access to the Waterfront Deck. Bedroom 3 is perfect for the kiddos with a Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full). A 2nd Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo is shared. As you slip out to the Deck, you’ll pass by the convenient Full Size Washer and Dryer - even that was done with style.

Wandering upstairs, Octopus’s Garden’s Reverse Floor Plan maximizes views, views, and more views! You’ll love relaxing in the Living Area with muted tones pulled right from Mother Nature - subtle beachy blues and sand dune beige. Enjoy Flat Screen Satellite TV with Streaming, and Free WiFi, not that you will want to spend time indoors with these Views. The wonderful Open Layout is great for spending time with those who matter most without ever feeling crowded. Slip out to the Waterfront Deck to take in breathtaking Views of the Canal that lead right to the Chincoteague Bay. There’s a Dining Table, as well as a few comfy Adirondacks just perfect for lazy Vacation days. Also on this floor is Bedroom 4 with another Queen Bed and Flat Screen TV, and another Full Bath with Walk-in Shower.

The Chef in the family will adore the well-equipped Kitchen with gleaming Granite and Stainless Steel Appliances. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach - or the Pools! Dine in the comfort of Central AC in the Dining Area - with gorgeous Water Views, or Al-Fresco on the Waterfront Deck - the world is your oyster at Octopus’s Garden (pronounced arster when you’re down our way)! Grill the Fresh Catch of the Day on the Gas Grill, or wander down the street to the Marina Club Restaurant for some awesome Waterfront Dining. You can even dine Poolside with a cold beverage from the Tiki Bar.

If you are all about Outdoor Living, you’re going to be thrilled with Octopus’s Garden. You will never get bored here - there’s an adventure around every turn. Fish and Crab right from your own Dock, or simply sunbathe and listen to the Tree Frogs sing. And don’t forget to bring your Boat and Water Toys! Two Kayaks are included, as well!

Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week). If you are arriving within three days of your reservation being made you will unfortunately not be able to purchase passes or use the amenities during your stay. More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise.

Occupancy Strictly enforced - no more than 8. No party groups - Families only! Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Pool/Amenity closures possible due to covid and Amenities cannot be guaranteed. Please check with our office for current status.
