The Chincoteague Oyster Festival is held each year to promote the seafood industry on the peninsula and mark the arrival of the oyster season! Raw and steamed oysters, clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, hot dogs, boardwalk fries, hush puppies, beverages, and a salad bar will be on the menu, with beer available to purchase!  

A festival favorite for over 25 years, Island Boy will provide live music entertainment! This event typically sells out before the festival day, so its never too early to begin planning for your visit!
