This home away from home simply oozes Southern Charm and Hospitality - we are so in love with it! Tucked on a super quiet Lane on the ever-popular East Side of our Island, you’ll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the real world, yet close to everywhere you want to be. Memorial Park is just steps away, offering two new boat ramps so bring the boat - there's plenty of room in the driveway! In addition to boat ramps, Memorial Park provides a great spot to launch kayaks, fish and crab from the pier, enjoy the playgrounds and sports courts, or do some stargazing! This is also where the Saltwater Cowboys guide the Chincoteague Ponies ashore after the annual Pony Swim!

EVENTIDE is all about the Experience - both inside and outside. The first thing you’ll notice as you pull into the driveway is the amazing Front Deck which faces Fowling Creek - it’s nothing short of incredible. With Canopies that create a calm and cool outdoor space, you’ll find an area for simply chillaxing with a glass of wine, and a Dining Area for dining Al-Fresco with a Water View. And in the evening, you’ll love sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the cozy Fire Pit - pure heaven. With Fowling Creek just outside your door, the area is teeming with Wildlife. You’ll be in awe watching Herons, Eagles, and Egrets with your morning coffee.

After a fun-filled day at the Beach, kick back in the Living Area with Flat Screen Streaming TV and Free WiFi. Sink into the comfy furnishings (New Queen Sleeper Sofa!) and enjoy a movie together, or gather at the Pub Table for Game Night! There's even a cozy Electric Fireplace for those chilly off-season stays. And you'll catch glimpses of the Assateague Channel, just across the way.

Mealtime will be a bay breeze in the Well-Stocked Kitchen. With Stainless Appliances, warm Wood Cabinetry, and tons of Countertop space, it’s a Chef’s dream. You'll find plenty of cold storage space and ice making with two refrigerators! There's even a Waffle Maker and Slow Cooker! Dine in the comfort of Central AC, or Al-Fresco under the Canopy on the Front Deck facing the Water. There’s even a Picnic Area below just the right size for the little ones! Not one to cook on Vacation? We’ve got you covered - there are lots of dining options nearby.

Wandering upstairs, grab a Book from the Bookcase on the upper Landing and find a quiet spot for a little “me time”. The whole family will love the selection of Books, Games, Puzzles, and Beach Toys provided. With 2 Bedrooms and 3 Full Baths, EVENTIDE sleeps 8 in comfort and style. Both of these Bedrooms are located upstairs, and BOTH are Masters. Bedroom 1 is peaceful and serene with colors of coral and sea, and a comfy Queen Bed. The kids will love the Bunk Nook in the room - their own little adventure! Both Bedrooms have Private Master Baths and Smart TVs, as well! Just across the Hall, Bedroom 2 is super spacious and dressed in Nautical Navy and Crisp White, and has a Queen Bed and a Full Bed. Catch up on some emails at the Work Station, but only if you must! There’s also a sweet little nook here which the Owners affectionately call “Lighthouse Lookout”, where you’ll find an unobstructed view of Assateague Lighthouse and catch its rhythmic flashes each night. There is a 2nd Private Full Bath in Bedroom 2, as well.

So, after a good night’s sleep, what shall you do next? Of course Assateague National Seashore, where our Wild Ponies roam free, is only 5 minutes away, but you may never even want to leave Eventide once you see “Below Deck”!

The Owners of EVENTIDE have created a fun and welcoming space under the home. You’ll find not one, but two Outdoor Showers, so no one will ever have to wait their turn! Under the house is also a Tiki Ring Toss Game, Picnic Area, Cornhole, and of course, the Fire Pit. Inside, there’s a cool Tiki Vibe with a Smart TV and lots of room to just hang out. The whole family will have a blast playing Foosball, and Ping Pong on the New Game Table!

Chincoteague affords many festivals and events throughout the year, and EVENTIDE is open to guests Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. No matter the time of year, this warm and welcoming home is waiting to help you make memories you’ll treasure forever!
