As you climb the stairs to the covered Front Porch, you glance at those comfy Adirondacks - and then at the gorgeous Chincoteague Bay - and you can already feel that you’ve made the right choice. Just imagine relaxing here with your morning coffee as you watch Herons, Eagles, and Egrets fish for their morning meal - there’s nothing quite like it!

Perched on pilings, Mainstay has a true presence about it - strong, yet so warm and welcoming. Perfect for families or for friends traveling together with 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths, we are so in love with its unique layout and special touches. Kick off your flip flops in the spacious foyer, and let the fun begin - you’re on island time now!

You’ll love kicking back in the Living Area after a fun-filled day at the Beach and enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen TV - there’s even a Fireplace for those chilly off-season stays - one of our favorite times here on Chincoteague! With beachy white built-ins, warm wood floors, and high-end, super comfy furnishings, it will instantly put you into vacation mode. There’s tons of space for everyone to gather together, without ever feeling crowded. We just love the Local Chincoteague art and nautical touches throughout the house! As you relax on the sofa, you can’t help but notice the huge octagonal Loft above you that opens up the entire space, and overlooks the Living Area. This truly one-of-a-kind home is going to leave you speechless!

The Chef in your group will love the light and bright Eat-in Kitchen with beachy white beadboard cabinetry, granite countertops, and tons of space - not to mention the stunning views through tons of windows to the water. Whipping up family meals will be a bay breeze! Not one to cook on Vacation? No worries - you’re 5 minutes from many great dining options, Historic Main Street Shops and Restaurants, and of course, Robert Reed Waterfront Park - home of spectacular Chincoteague Sunsets and a great place to crab, fish, or just run and play in the park!

Mainstay sleeps 8 in pure comfort and style in 3 Bedrooms and with 2 Fulls Baths - plus a huge Loft! On the main level, Bedrooms 2 and 3 are tucked off the Living Area, along with a gorgeous Full Bath with Double Vanity and Tub/Shower Combo.

Bedroom 2 is serene and beachy with pale blues and colors of sand, and has a comfy Queen Bed, Flat Screen TV, and lots of space. Down the hall, Bedroom 3 is just plain FUN with 2 bunkbeds, cow-print bedding, and deep mahogany furnishings. The kids - or the kid in you - will love it!

Wandering upstairs, you finally get to see this awesome Loft space - and it is SO awesome! A complete 2nd Living Area, you’ll find a futon and other seating for curling up with a good book, and a table and chairs perfect for family game night, or sipping your morning coffee. Also on this upper level is Bedroom 1, which is the Primary Bedroom, and it is huge!

Dressed in colors of sand and sea, this bright, open space has a luxurious King Bed, Flat Screen TV, Work Station, and most importantly, access to your Private Deck with amazing Bay Views! Two welcoming Adirondacks are just waiting for you. Stress is not even a word in your vocabulary in this sweet, serene space! Full Bath 2 is spa-like with a Double Vanity, Soaking Tub, and Walk-in Shower with Custom Tile. It’s easily accessed from the Loft Area or the Primary Bedroom.

All of this, and less than 10 minutes to one of the most pristine and natural beaches in America! Whether you enjoy sunbathing, fishing, clamming, searching for wild ponies, or taking in some history, our Little Island by the Sea is ready to deliver on your next Chincoteague Island Adventure!
