South Herd Corral

Pony Swim kicks off at 7:00 AM as the Saltwater Cowboys ride out to the southern end of Assateague Island to herd more than 50 ponies that live in this portion of the island. The ponies will be brought to the Southern Corral on the Wildlife Refuge, where the public can await their arrival and get plenty of photos as the ponies stay overnight.
